Entry Requirements:

Open to all women artists eighteen years and older, in all media, except video:

Painting Mixed Media Original Prints Drawing Photography Pastel Textiles Sculpture

Artists are expected to attend receptions to discuss their art.

Juried Submission Guidelines:

· $20/1 non-refundable single entry or $35/2 and $10 for each additional entry.

Send digital images as email attachment or mail CD disc. All digital images

should be JPG, 8”x10”, 300 dpi, RGB color mode. Organize disk with each

JPG having image title, media and size. Asking price is understood to include

a non-member commission of 40%. Our preference is ‘works for sale’ in this show,

if possible.

· Up to three images for each piece of sculpture will count as one entry.

· Entry fee is non-refundable.

· Work submitted must be available for the duration of the show.

· Impact Artists’ Gallery reserves the right to reproduce images for promotional purposes.

Credit will be given, wherever possible.

· Please pick up hand delivered works promptly between 2-4pm on the last day.

Size:

· Hung works may not exceed 60 inches in width. Sculpture must be no larger than three feet

in diameter and 60 pounds. Maximum weight for shipping container with art 80 pounds.

Assembly:

· All two-dimensional work must be ready to hang.

· Where applicable:

o Consider using plexiglass

o Work must be suitably framed.

Return Shipping:

· Return shipping must be prepaid and the official pre-paid label enclosed with art.

Remember to include the gallery/site ‘pickup charge’ in these arrangements.

· Shipping insurance is the responsibility of the artist.

Packaging:

· No loose peanuts allowed in packing or carton will be returned unexhibited.
Handling Fee:

· $15 per shipped container.

Liability:

Although utmost care will be given to all art work, Impact Artists’ Gallery, its members or

volunteers and the Tri-Main Center will NOT assume responsibility for any damage or loss.

Impact Artists Gallery carries no insurance for artwork exhibited in the gallery. You are

advised to verify that your artwork is covered by your homeowner’s insurance.

Awards: FIRST, SECOND, THIRD PLACE

Application Checklist:

· Correctly labeled images on CD or email

· Complete entry form. Remember to note the date you emailed your images. Incomplete

or late entries will be rejected. Mail with your check.

Time Line: 2012

· April 20th: postmarked CD or emailed image entry deadline.

· May 11th: All A/R notifications mailed.

· May 26th to 28th: Deadline for receiving accepted works.

· June 6th: National Women’s Juried Exhibition Spring 2012 opens.

· June 16th: Saturday Reception 3-5pm, awards at 4pm.

· Hand delivered works need to be picked up 2-4pm on Sat., June 30th by you or

anyone with your receipt. Shipped artwork will be returned after July 4th. The Gallery

needs to be empty for the next hanging. (Call prior to coming.)

Note: a $2 a day per piece will be charged from that point forward as handling/storage leads

to uncalled for extra work for our volunteer staff. Thanks for recognizing this conflict.

Entry Requirements: OPEN to All artists, over 18, residing in WNY are eligible to submit works of art – paintings, drawings, photography, ceramics, painted glasswork, fibreart, papermaking, jewelry, mixed media collage, art dolls, art cards, media of your choice. Exhibiting artist must attend, within reason, the reception to discuss their art.

Non-refundable Entry Fees:
$50.00 for each 4 feet of wall space (salon style) or 4 running feet of table space for non-members, $ 35.00 associate members requested donation, and full members requested donation of $15.00. HALF PRICE FOR DECEMBER SHOW PARTICIPANTS! Tables will be supplied for 20 artists, please call asap to register for one of them. Plan on setting up your own work to your liking. Number of entries must fit the space allowed. Final look of the show is up to the discretion of the show chairman. We reserves the right to exclude works at our discretion.

Single wall hung works may not exceed 45 inches in width. Sculpture must be no larger than 2 feet in diameter and 25 pounds. Sold pieces can go with the patron at the time of sale; you will be notified and can replace these pieces.

NOTE: plan a salon layout for your collection as a whole.  Local artists/craftspersons are encouraged to hang your own collection for the communal experience on Monday, Jan 2nd 3-5pm and 7-9pm. Space available: 30 artists space with 4’ of wall space and 20 artists who might rather use 4’ of table space.
