Hello world!
Impact Artists’ Gallery is a cooperative members’ gallery for women artists, one of few in the nation. We mount ten or more exhibitions of visual art each year, including two to four national juried shows , a members-only show, and several community service exhibits. Impact is an attractively appointed gallery, a warm spot in the setting of a former old industrial building, now a thriving arts community.
Our mission is to provide a venue primarily for women artists to create, exhibit and sell their work, grow in their craft, and network with other artists. In addition to visual art, our gallery provides space for other genre, such as poetry and dance. We sponsor several community-service exhibits each year, encourage racial diversity, and promote the art of all women, young, senior, and women of all races. We serve both emerging and established artists.
New members are juried-in once a month by submitting 3-5 pieces of original work at any time of the year. Membership rates can be obtained by stopping in the gallery and picking up a form or by phone or by e-mail. There are several categories, with different rates and requirements. Members do all the work of the gallery, participating in hanging, receptions, gallery sitting and clerical work, which leads to comradeship, valuable networking, and learning new skills.
